I for one am quite excited about the potential of another new film about a member of the Pre-Raphaelite Sisterhood. And yes, I definitely count Effie Millais as a member of that group. Above is a new (to me) promotional shot of Dakota Fanning as Effie. Beautifully Pre-Raphaelite looking, isn't she?I'll be keeping a close eye on this one!

Actually my only criticism is that she wouldn't have worn her hair loose in public.
Actually, she might have, depending on whether this image is from before she married or not, and how young she is here. Young unmarried women often did wear their hair down, especially if they were wandering around the countryside.
I noticed the loose hair too. It'll be interesting to see if she starts wearing it up as the movie progresses.
