The Victorian Trading Co. has offered "Pre-Raphaelite gowns" before, but I believe this style is new? Too much for my budget, but a pretty gown nonetheless.
I saw that too! It is a pretty dress, and if I thought I'd ever have somewhere to wear it, I'd gather my funds together and buy it. But I just don't think I ever would. It is closer to being a Pre-Raphaelite gown than the other one they used to sell.
I wonder if you've seen the gown that the company Pyramid Collection has in their catalog, that they're calling a Regency gown, but that to my eye, would also well suit an Aesthetic maid. It's in a lovely creamy brocade, and I'm very tempted. It's much less expensive, for one thing!

The two movements began during the Victorian era, and celebrated a return to the aesthetics and simplicity of medieval times, as well as the romance of nature and chivalry.trading system

Did you see their Ophelia Coat? GORGEOUS!! Reminded me of the clothing in brotherhood series from last year. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteHelen, sorry such a late reply, but no, I hadn't seen it, and wow is it beautiful! I can't afford it, but stunning!
