Thanks Hermes for the heads-up.
Desperate Romantics has their site up on the BBC2 page, with all sorts of trailers, behind the scenes videos...
...none of which are 'viewable in my area.' :(
Can some reader over the pond please take pity on us in the states and convert these into something I can see?
There is an interesting "explore the paintings" area of the site, however, breaking down each episode into the featured artwork.
Hi Grace!
ReplyDeleteNone of then, can access this? I will give it a try. Anita
No luck. Keep us posted! Anita
ReplyDeleteSorry Grace they use the embedded BBC media player which only works in the UK. Needs someone more technical than me to know how to convert them. My son says to watch this, but I don't personally understand it!!

@Hermes - Your son is on the right track - the YouTube video shows you how to "trick" the BBC player into thinking you're in the UK. However, I've tried this and it takes a long time to find a proxy that works (I never actually found one after spending 30+ minutes trying).
ReplyDeleteI would suggest waiting until the first episode airs and then checking out UKNova instead. It's a great community of fellow Anglophiles :)
Hi, I'm in England and really looking forward to this...If it doesn't show up on the web, could try to describe it for you after Tuesday....
ReplyDeleteRosetti needs to stop being hott right now.
ReplyDeleteHi, just wanted to say that an artist's blog has a lot to say about this series, not very complimentary, but interesting. Here's the address ...http://makingamark.blogspot.com/
