Katarzyna Konieczka

I love it when I find a photographer whose work I admire, only to peruse their work further and realize that I had already seen their work anonymously and loved it.  Such was the case with Katarzyna Konieczka

This piece especially reminds me of Millais' Ophelia.  The feel of it is very similar and yet retains the modern photographer's own unique style.

Have you seen the cover for Florence and the Machines Ceremonials? Although the dress is not pre-raph at all her pose, that neck and that hair! She looks like someone Rossetti would have loved to have model for him.

Hi Helen.

I love Florence! I did a post about her a ways back: http://thebeautifulnecessity.blogspot.com/2009/12/florence-machine.html

She's definitely a stunner :)

I did an analysis of the hand gestures of Ophelia and their meaning for my english bachelors of fine arts essay for the first year and received an A. Unfortunately I do not know where this essay is or I would show you it.
