Two Announcements
Stephanie from Pre-Raphaelite Sisterhood has announced October's Pre-Raphaelite Reading Club selection...Mortal Love! I've read this book before and adored it, and look forward to reading it again!
So read this excellent book and then join the discussion over at Pre-Raphaelite Sisterhood!
Also, thanks to an anonymous tip on an old post, I can tell you that several objects from Kelmscott are on tour in America! "Items from Kelmscott - two examples from the 'Legend of Goode Wimmen' tile series, the 'Acanthus and Vine' tapestry, St Catherine embroidered wall hanging, and Jane Morris’s jewel casket - will be displayed alongside items connected to William Morris from the Society’s collections at Burlington House, including his certificate of election to the Society in 1894." If you live near Boston or Yale, stop by to see these priceless items!!!
