Ned and Topsy Silhouettes

I've been enthusiastically making pop culture silhouettes to sell on Etsy, and to put on the walls of our new home. Well, thanks in large part to Raine's amazing cartoons, I decided that Ned and Topsy definitely have distinctive enough profiles to make them silhouettes. I put this together yesterday:


The background of the profiles is two pages of the Kelmscott Chaucer. I thought...what better way to show the cooperative and brilliantly artistic relationship between these two men than with pages of one of the masterpieces they created together?

Ned and Topsy Merch from Raine

So...when I saw the insanely awesome cartoon portrait of Ned and Topsy drawn by the amazing Raine Szramski I flipped. And then she said she would clean up the image and put it on t-shirts. She followed through on her promise and created the most awesome merchandise line Cafepress has ever seen. The only thing left for me is deciding what sort of shirt to purchase (and bag, and mug, etc etc)

Raine has also done a few more cartoons I'll be posting next.
